Since 1964, our doors have been open and we have welcomed many customers. Windham Lumber is a family owned and operated business in Elba, Alabama. Elba is a small town located in the southern half of Alabama, more commonly known as the wiregrass.

 

 FACT: The wiregrass region is named after the native Aristida stricta grass that is prevalent in the Southern United States.

When Windham Lumber was first established, Jack B. Windham Sr. opened the doors as a sawmill. However, like all things, times changed and so did the dynamics of the business. In the 1980's, Jack B. Windham Jr. expanded the business by offering hardware.  Today, not only do we offer lumber and hardware, but we also offer a wide variety of paints, plumbing, lawn and garden goods and housewares.
